Meet our Team
Dr. Firoozeh Biria
Dr. Biria has been practicing dentistry for more than 17 years. As a native of Johnson County, it is a privilege and joy for her to be providing dental care to her own community.
After graduating from Shawnee Mission East High School, Dr. Biria attended the University of Kansas. She received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Genetics and Bachelor’s of Arts in Biology.
Her desire for patient care led her to the field of Dentistry. Dr. Biria received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University, College of Dentistry. She then went on to do a General Practice Residency in Dentistry at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Biria is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, and Fifth District Dental Society.
Dr. Biria keeps busy outside of the office with her husband and four kids.
Michelle graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelors in Life Science and a minor in Leadership in 2012. She continued her education at Avila University and earned a Bachelors in Nursing.
She enjoys patient interations and getting to know our patients at Biria Dentistry. She cares about our patients and makes sure that everyone that comes to our office, leaves happy and receives satisfactory service.
Michelle enjoys spending her free time with her family and her two pups, Max and Hank. She also enjoys working out, cooking, and traveling.
Leah graduated from Johnson County Community College as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2015.
Her favorite part about being a hygienist is building relationships with her patients and helping educate patients about their oral health and how it affects their overall health, as well as how to improve their oral hygiene.
Leah is a member of American Dental Hygiene Association, Kansas Dental Hygiene Association, and President of the Eastern Kansas Dental Hygiene Association.
She is originally from Wahoo, NE and moved to Kansas City in 2011 where she met her husband, Ryan. Together they have a son, Elijah, born in 2016 and expecting another boy in Fall 2017.
Leah enjoys scrapbooking, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors with their three dogs.
